TRACING THE ROOTS OF ST. PAUL
Congregants originally meeting in homes, halls, and rented spaces until 1882, when a building was erected on the corner of St. Lawrence Ave and Eighth St. After a fire in 1905, the church was repaired, enlarged, and a full basement was installed.
The current sanctuary and a portion of our present-day house of worship was constructed and dedicated in 1938. The stained-glass windows were also installed during this period.
In 1957, the Sunday school and office extension was added. In 1958, Fellowship Hall was dedicated.
In October 2024, St. Paul celebrated its 150th anniversary.
